Our Commitment to Nurses Across Canada
Johnson & Johnson Medical Companies sponsors the following programs:
The Drake / Thompson Writing Award
The annual Drake / Thompson Writing Award strives to recognize Canadian perioperative nurses who contribute to their field through the publication of informative articles. Formerly the Surgikos Award, this $3,000 award was renamed the "Drake / Thompson Award" in 1992 in memory of two Johnson & Johnson employees who died tragically in an airplane crash. The award is presented annually to the author(s) of an article published in the Canadian Operating Room Nursing Journal.
